Giving Back

We are all here and who we are because someone has given something (money, time, knowledge, etc.) so that our lives can be what they are today.  So it is only right that we use this platform to give back and pay it forward.  With every purchase that is made at Trench Sports, 10% of the proceeds will go to a foundation that you choose from the list provided upon checkout.  This donation will be made at no extra charge to you.

Trench Sports is a proud supporter of the following foundations…

Founded by Jon Rose, a professional surfer, in 2009, Waves for Water has one simple mission...

“to get clean water to every person who needs it”.

Traveling the world as a professional surfer, Jon just wanted to do his part and leave the places that he visited a little better than the way he found them.  Bringing water filters and teaming up with community leaders and organizers to distribute water filters in the areas that need it the most, Jon and his crew are able to have a major impact on a community in a very basic way.

In 6 years, Waves for Water has distributed over 150,000 water filtration systems in 27 countries which has impacted over 8 million people.

One filter has the power to provide 170 gallons of clean drinking water per day, enough for 100 people, and over the filters lifetime when properly maintained 1 million gallons of clean drinking water.

During the month of January 2018, Trench Sports has joined forces with Waves for Water to raise money for the Caribbean Islands devasted by the 2017 hurricane season.  Here's how you can help.

The Surfrider Foundation USA is a U.S. 501 grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches.  Trench Sports is a proud member of the Surfrider Foundation.

Their staff of nearly 50 people help support our chapter network in their campaigns, champion for policy and fight legal battles for our coasts, bring awareness to the issues facing our ocean, provide critical support on stuff like accounting, technology, and HR, and raise money to make all of this happen. We have an appetite for adventure and we all share a common passion - we love and appreciate our ocean, waves and beaches.
